Soli

Diagemtas Solidor was originally booked to go to France but things changed as the new owner  said she was nasty with people and dogs, so she came back and stayed. Although she was a confident and happy pup who easily passed her Kennel Club Puppy Foundation when she was with me she had changed drastically when she came back. I do not know exactly what happened  in the six days she was away but she was terrified of people and dogs approaching her when she got back here which was very upsetting.  I took things steady with her to build up the confidence she had lost and I am pleased to say she has turned into a wonderful girl. She has passed her Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze, Silver and Gold tests and is now in our Platinum class. The Silver and Gold tests involve somebody else she does not know examining her and also off lead work with other dogs present which I knew could be a challenge but she was brilliant passing each test first time. While in class and when she is out she always has a yellow lead on with give me space on it as although I cannot be sure I think that while she was away she was crowded and I never want to put her in that position again.

She recently had a lump on her throat which turned out to be a piece of grass which caused  the swelling to become enormous and had to eventually be operated on. She saw several different vets over the period of the five weeks treatment, three of whom put a needle in the lump to extract fluid. She patiently stood there while I held her and the vets worked and there was never any sign of reaction.

She is a very affectionate girl who loves cuddles and she  learns very quickly.

She is clear through parentage for CL, TNS and IGS but as she may be a CEA carrier.
